Here at The Cross Keys we pride ourselves on using high quality, fresh, seasonal produce. We serve a traditional British menu made from British ingredients and wherever possible, the best of Yorkshire. We could not do this without the support of our supplier friends who live and work by the same philosophy as us.
Taste Tradition
Multi award winning, Taste Tradition is a North Yorkshire farming family specialising in Rare Breed Pigs and Rare or Native Breed Cattle. Their farming methods are reminiscent of our grandfather's era, bringing out the very best in the breeds that they rear and in turn producing extremely high quality, beautifully tasty pork & beef.
Cryer and Stott
Cryer and Stott’s aim is simple: to be the premier merchant of Yorkshire cheese and produce. Not only do they supply to the trade, but also own and operate three deli shops open to the public. Cryer & Stott has been named in the top 15 cheese merchants by national press and have provided consultation services to television programmes. They have also been named Business of the Year by the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humberside. Whether we include the cheeses within our dishes or offer them proudly on our British cheeseboard you can be sure that each one is lovingly crafted and chosen for its exceptional quality.
Meanwood Valley Urban Farm
Meanwood Valley Urban Farm opened in 1980 with the support of Leeds City Council and volunteers recruited via Leeds Civic Trust. From humble beginnings, operating from two old caravans with bed frames providing fencing Meanwood Valley Urban Farm has steadily grown to become a major centre for community and environmental work. We are proud to be part of this fantastic project and source many of our fruit and vegetables from them.
Ramus Seafood Emporium
Based in Harrogate, Ramus Seafoods is a family run business with a twenty-seven year history of bringing the best seafood from all over the world direct to the people of North Yorkshire. With an enviable reputation they are rightly regarded as one of the premier Seafood Specialists in the country. They help us to ensure that all our fish is caught in British waters and wherever possible we use sustainable and organic fish, never farmed.
